New setup for my snake

I bought a larger reptile enclosure and a deep heat projector, plus some feeding tongs. The ordering process on the website was smooth, no real issues there. The enclosure arrived in two separate boxes after about a week, which was okay. It was well-packed, and there was no damage. Assembling the PVC enclosure took me about an hour by myself, the instructions were clear enough. The deep heat projector works great, keeps the basking spot perfect. I had a quick question about mounting the projector, and customer support replied to my email within a day, which was helpful. The feeding tongs feel sturdy. My snake seems to really enjoy the extra space. I'd recommend them for reptile supplies, just plan on a few days for shipping depending on where you are.

My gecko loves his new home!

I just got the PVC terrarium and it's fantastic! The quality is so good and my crested gecko settled in right away. It came faster than I expected, too. I'm already planning my next order for some more terrarium decor. DinoSupplies is my new favorite for reptile stuff!

Mostly happy with my order

I purchased a bioactive kit and some cork bark. The kit itself was pretty complete and everything arrived safely. Shipping took about 6 days to get here, which is decent. My only minor issue was that the cork bark pieces were a bit smaller than I hoped for the price, but still usable. Assembly of the enclosure parts was straightforward enough. Overall, I got what I needed for my setup, and the quality seems good. Just wish the cork bark was a bit more substantial.

Are these enclosures any good for super high humidity stuff? Like a chameleon or something that needs tropical conditions?

P Paula 3 weeks ago
The PVC ones are pretty solid for humidity, way better than screen tops. I've got a dart frog setup in one and it holds moisture really well.

I use their PVC for my crested geckos and it's great, but for a chameleon you'd probably still want a good mister and maybe some sealant around the edges if you're really worried about leaks. They're designed for it though, I think.

Is the glass for the doors usually included with the terrarium kits? Some places charge extra for it.

M Mia 2 weeks ago
Yeah, if it's a 'kit' it usually means the glass is included. Just double check the product description to be sure, but mine came with everything.

My enclosure came with the glass panels. I think it's pretty standard for them unless you're buying just the frame or something weird like that.

Anyone compared Dino Supplies with Zen Habitats? Looking at an all-in-one kit but not sure which brand to go with.

S Sophie Doyle 1 month ago
I've got both, and honestly, Dino Supplies feels a bit sturdier for the price. Zen's good too, but DS usually has better deals on the bigger PVC ones.

Zen Habitats is good for sure, but their pricing can be a bit higher. Dino Supplies seems to have more options for really specific bioactive stuff too, like substrate bundles and all.

Got a coupon code but it's not working. Is there a trick to where you enter it or something?

N Nick 3 weeks ago
It's usually right at the final checkout page, after you put in your shipping details. Sometimes they don't stack if you already have a sale item in your cart, that happened to me once.

Are you trying to use it on something that's already on sale or part of a bundle? They're pretty strict about not combining discounts.

How easy are these terrariums to put together? I'm not super handy.

B Brett Walsh 3 weeks ago
They're not too bad, honestly. Most of them just snap or screw together. I put one together by myself in about 30 minutes, and I'm definitely not an expert.

The instructions were pretty clear for mine, and everything lined up fine. You might need a screwdriver, but that's about it. It's more like IKEA furniture than actual construction.

Hey, thinking about getting one of those PVC enclosures for my new crested gecko. How long does shipping usually take, like to California?

W Wendy 1 month ago
Mine got to Texas in about a week and a half, so Cal might be similar. They usually take a few days to process before it even ships.

yeah I ordered a big one for my boa and it took almost two weeks to get to me in Oregon. Definitely not Amazon Prime speeds lol.

Do these guys do free shipping on big orders? Like if I buy an enclosure and a bunch of decor?

S Sarah 2 weeks ago
They often have free shipping over a certain dollar amount. I think it pops up when you're adding stuff to your cart if you hit the threshold.

A Amber D. 2 weeks ago
Yeah, I got free shipping on my last order, it was over $100 I think? Just keep an eye out for the banner on the site.

Does Dino Supplies have one of those first-time buyer discounts or anything? About to pull the trigger on a bunch of stuff.

K Kate 3 weeks ago
They usually have a popup for a newsletter signup that gives you a discount code, think it's like 10 or 15% off. Look for that when you first hit the site.

P Phil J. 3 weeks ago
Yep, I got 10% off my first order. Just watch out, it might not work on bundle deals if you're getting one of those.
